5.6.2008 Letter

hello famerly,
well it is tuesday now and of course i didn't forget to email! um i am staying in stockton which i a way excited about and also a little nervous because this will be my 3rd transfer here and i havn't had any babtisms while i have been here. last week we had 2 ppl to church they were mary and landy some ppl that we have been teaching for quite a while but mary (21 yr old) doesnt want to stop smoking and drinking. she knows she needs to but she wont and landy is just her little 8 yr old brother. she told us on sunday that she wasn't going to go to church anymore. its sad but i know she feels guilty going and sinning. mabey later in her life she will come back. other than that we are teaching a lot but it turns out that we add them and then dropping them. um... so sorry but not much is really going on right now. last night the stones invited me and my comp. (oh by the way i will have a new comp named elder seavy-he has been out for 3 tranfers, with me, he is from st george and a really good elder he even knows mark) anyways yeah the stones had me over for a cinco de mayo dinner it was fun to see them again and she was excited to hear that you guys are good she says your cool mom and she reminds me a lot like you its kindof weird. anyways. we had a good spanish dinner. yesterday was an ok day one funny story for the week. yesterday we were on our way to a members house when a very large white lady yeall us and says oh praise the lord will you hel me. i guess she just got back from shopping and had a lot of groceries. so she went inside and carried all of her groceries in while she sat and watched tv. then she is all like can you put the food away. we were like sure. so we then started puting the food away and meanwile her mom wanted me to peel and orange so i started peeling an orange for er mom while my comp was putting away the food while i peled the orange and also she asked me to change a light bulb and also change the furnace filter. then my comp finally got all the food away when one of the jugs of milk started leaking alove the fridge so we had to take everything out, my comp started cleaning up the mess and the lady didn't want to throw the milk away so i got the blemder put the old milk in that while she put the new milk (what was left of it) in the old jug! then finnally we finsished and she wanted us to go outside and put her garbage cans away. se got done with that and they wanted a free movie. and then finnaly we prayed with them ... it was funny. CALLED TO SERVE. anyways tell grannie parr thanks for the birthday card and 50 SMACKS!!!! i will have sister yeates call you guys this week and tell you a time for sunday probably aroud 2-4 but i dont know yet.
