hello family!
so i bet you all are wondering why i havent e-mailed yet today... today since i am going home soon i got to go up to a place called caloma. it is the place where the gold rush started. it was pretty fun i got to see all the elders that i came out and just had a good time up in the mountains breathing some fresh air and chilling with the brothers and learning about the gold rush. we got to pan for gold and i hit the gold mine!!! jk haha :) but i did get about 12.00 worth of gold and i have it in a little vial. MAN it has been hot here!!! we are having crazy heat here. It has been over 100 for the past 5 days i love it and hate it! man the worst thing is most all of the cambodians have no airconditioning because it is way too expensive so we are teaching in very hot and smelly houses. yuck! BUT IT SURE lets me apprecdiate being where i came from. Guess what!! the best news yet! don don don dah............................. we have a firm! yeah her name is sok and she is planning to get babptized on may 25th. she is cool. she cam to church with one of the lao members and commited for baptism. she is 19 and we also found out that her mom and brother are members and there is a possible reactivation. i will tell more next week. mom i will fly into slc that is fine. plus you and dad will be my mission president so its not a big deal. its not like i will probably want to do anything crazy being 2 years away from anything! anyways hope all is well and i will talk to youi guys next week love jeffro
