4.28.2008 Letter

hello family from hot and sunny california. man it has been like 90's for two weeks and i am loving it. yes i did got and get some new shoes which is nice because now i am playing basketball in the mornings. thanks. also yes i am definatly comeing home july 31st and the office will be calling you to try to get a hold of you. i guess they were wondering if you wanted me to fly into slc or into st george i told the i didn;t know and to call you guys so if you haven't heard from them you will be probably within the next few days but yes july 31st for sure. do you have any plans for coming back out here to meet my investigators? anywyas just a question because i know we talked about that. yeah so today we are just jhanging out um the yeates went up to sacramento so we had to come over to lollycup, a really good drink place (you guys will have to try it) and we are a ll e-mailing here because they have computers. um a funny / crappy story i think last friday me and my comp had to go on exchanges with the zone leaders so we went to there apartment and there were no spaces so we just parked in front of the garbage bin (yeah i bet you guessed already) and then me and one of the zone leaders left and when we came back the other two told us that our car got towed! so i know that this is stupid but i have to pay 70 bucks yikes!!! guess we learned our lesson. the stupid thing is that for like the last two years i have parked there and nothing has happened so i am really mad at the office of that apartment because there are like 10 missionaries that live there and we are the best customers and they never have problems with us. i can't belive it!!! anywyas yeah this week was aliitle better we got three ppl too church so that was re4ally nice. 2 of them are past investigaotrs that we started teaching again so we will see. she is 20 years old but doesn;t want to stop smoking and drinking. but we are really trying to help her understand that that will make her miserable down the road. it is just so hard because that is the thing everyone does here. ecpecially the cambodians. but anyways we are trying to help her. i guess she has read up to 1 ne 19 which is so so cool and she actually understandis it and likes it so that really amazed us. the other person that came is a friend of a less active member that the other 2 elders are teaching. i guess she is having some problems in her life and we are going to start teaching her but it is hard because the other 2 elders are involved because she is friends with the less active member who lives in there area. but anyways that is about all the ppl that came to church and we finally found a few ppl to teach but i wil;l tell about the when they actually start to progress. anyways mindi my comp is in the pink shirt. hah funny its tight.. and those ladys, not girls i think they are in their 40's kari. are from oakland and are members there. we jsut happend to meet them at cambodian new year. also that other girl is a singer from cambodia that cam here. so it was cool to meet her and she was amazed that we spoke her language. anyways it is nice to hear from you guys and i hope all is well i am way excited to talk to you guys on the 11th
